We called for a reservation earlier in the day and they said they could accommodate. Then when we arrived they said there would be a 10-15 min wait. . . 35 min later we were seated! Not ideal. However, the food here is delicious and the waiter was amazing. My husband had the lamb shank special with polenta and I mean that polenta was divine! The onion dip was not as expected - it came warm and too smooth but the homemade chips were amazing.
We loved the Woodstone Tavern! They let us sit out on the patio with our pup, our lunch was delicious and our waitress, Mo, was the best! We'll be back for sure!
On our visit to Woodstone Tavern we were impressed by the attentive service and the quality of the food. It was the most enjoyable restaurant experience in recent memory and there's no doubt that it will be a regular on our list of places to eat out. Only sorry we didn't try it earlier. It sounded too good to be true but it is.
We traveled from the Boston area to pick up flour at Ground Up Grain. Just happened upon Woodstone by chance and we're glad we did. Both entrees Halibut and Gnocchi with duck were outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back next trip.
There was 8 of us and we were celebrating my daughter's promotion!! We had a great waiter and great food. Will definitely be back as their menu changes often!!
Food and service very good. A little loud due to a party in the bar so not sure if acoustics are great every night.
I had driven by Woodstone and wondered how it was. When I saw the reviews on Yelp we had to try it and we are so glad we did! This tavern has a very relaxed Irish pub vibe with a cool decor. There are lots of historical pictures of Holyoke. Our server, Bill, was great. Very friendly and attentive, but not overbearing at all. The food was absolutely amazing and there is a full bar! We had the onion dip with house made chips (they will bring more chips if you want them!) which was really good. We both ordered specials. My wife had beef filet and I had the seared scallops and they were AMAZING, perfectly cooked! I'm talking memorable! We will absolutely be visiting again!
Woodstone Tavern is a true gem in Holyoke. The food does not disappoint; everything is freshly made. And the servers are always attentive. A great place to grab a drink & appetizers, have lunch or dinner. Highly recommend to stop by when in Holyoke.
Super cool energy in here. Stopped in for lunch with my mother after a grueling and expensive trip to the Apple Store in Springfield. This place is special. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food was quite good. We had dip and flatbread and the beet salad (which did not skimp on the goat cheese!). I'm never in this area so I'm not sure I'll ever pop in again, but, it's worth a stop if you're in town and if you're local and you're not already a regular, you should question your decision making skills.
